Picking the right standing desk can be tricky. With different makes, models and types available it’s hard to really understand which one is right for you. Luckily, you’ve already found the best, most affordable and most portable one on the market (well done you). This blog should help you navigate which Deskmate to get for your height and working set-up.

If it doesn't please let us know and we'll promptly sack our Marketing team.

Laptop only set up:

This ones easy. It’s Minimate all day. A one tiered standing desk converter is perfect for you, unless you use an external keyboard and mouse. If that’s the case, then we’d recommend Deskmate. If you are under 5’11, go for regular, above 5’11 go for large. If you are above 6’6, drop us an email.

Desktop only set up:

If you work from a Desktop, we’d recommend Deskmate. It’s two tiered, meaning that it will support up to 12.5kg per shelf (the heaviest iMac weighs 10kg, last time we checked). If your under 5’11, go for regular, if you are above 5’11 go for large. If you are above 6’6, drop us an email.

For Desktop, Laptop or a mixture of the two heavier set ups:

Time to roll the big boys out. It’s Deskmate plus extensions for you. These extensions will sit on top of the desk and give you extra space for keyboards, extra laptops or your houseplant. If you are under 5’11, go for regular, if you are above 5’11 go for large. If you are above 6’6, drop us an email.
